The Australian College of Kuwait has been established under Kuwait Law 34/2000, governing private universities in Kuwait, to provide internationally recognised and accredited vocational education and training to the maritime, engineering and management sectors.

The Australian College of Kuwait is the Vision of its Chairman, Mr Abdullah Al Sharhan, who knows that the Australian vocational curriculum is the best in the world and has brought this world-leading curriculum to Kuwait to assist the development of Kuwait and its young people.

The College is a Kuwaiti owned business which uses Australian managers and instructors and operates in partnership with a number of Australian Universities and Technical Institutes to provide world-class vocational education for the first time in Kuwait. The Australian College of Kuwait has partnerships with the Australian Maritime College (AMC), the Institute of Technical and Further Education in Tasmania, The Central Technical and Further Education College in Perth and Kangan Batman Technical and Further Education Institute in Melbourne.

The College operates from a purpose-built campus in Mishref, Kuwait, and attracts students from throughout the Gulf region. It offers a state of the art training facility from which to deliver a wide range of training programs.

ACK curriculum targets training in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Oil & Gas and Aviation) and Management. It currently offers a two year full time Diploma and is progressively moving towards the offering of Degrees.

A Pre-Foundation Intensive English semester is available for students who need to build their basic English skills. A Foundation Year in Business Management or Engineering is available to prospective student who need to strengthen their existing English skills, build mathematics and science skills, as well as learn valuable study skills to ensure their success in their chosen Diploma program.
