Lumen
Christi is a coeducational Secondary College catering for students
from Years 8 to 12, with around 960 students on role. Nestling
at the foothills of the Darling Ranges the College is bounded by
the Tonkin and Albany Highways providing easy access from all directions.
Spread over 20 hectares of land our single story campus is well
spaced with abundant sporting facilities and areas for social and
recreational purposes. The space and our well cared for grounds
combine to create a tranquil setting and a conducive learning environment.
The mission of Lumen Christi College is "to provide every student
with a complete education. An education which focuses on spiritual,
social, physical and emotional growth, alongside academic excellence."
In keeping with this mission Lumen Christi endeavours to provide
opportunities which allow each student to become the best person
he or she can possibly be.
A pastorally caring and supportive community, based on the teachings
of Christ, the College is a positive environment in which all can
learn and grow. Enriched by the heritage of Catholic Education
Lumen Christi is dedicated to preparing students for the challenges
demanded in daily life. Students are encouraged to aspire to the
values enshrined in the five pillars which interweave the key facets
of life at Lumen Christi College. These pillars help to enrich

Structures and facilities are reviewed and renewed. Particular
focus is given to the ever increasing complexity of technology
and communication systems Staff members work hard to ensure the
College maintains a well structured timetable, a vibrant curriculum,
innovative teaching methods, up to date resources and an exemplary
pastoral care system. All these elements of school life are underpinned
by a set of core values which on a day to day basis enable staff
to live out our mission to 'provide a complete education for all
our students.
