Holy Spirit College is located in Mackay, a tropical haven half way between Brisbane and Cairns. The Mackay Region coastline stretches 200 km north from St Lawrence to Laguna Whitsunday’s, and inland to the town of Clermont. The region’s colourful past is economically founded upon coal, sugar, beef and tourism.


HSC currently has approximately 800 students enrolled across Years 8 - 12. The year 8 & 9 curriculum is based on current middle schooling philosophies. Year 10 incorporates a specialized transition program leading students towards an academic or vocational pathway for their senior schooling in years 11 & 12.


The HSC campus occupies a spacious 10.7 hectares with excellent academic and sporting facilities, including the new Father Bucas multipurpose hall.
