Apsley Recruitment is a specialist Banking and Finance Recruitment firm, and is 100% Australian owned. Established in 2002 by 4 highly experienced consultants with extensive industry contacts and market knowledge, Apsley prides itself on recruiting with integrity.

Richard Adams - Managing Director

Richard Adams is the founder and Managing Director of Apsley Recruitment.

On completing Tertiary Studies and having worked within Investment Banking, Richard has spent the last 11 years working within the Sydney recruitment market specialising in the Financial Services Industry.

In opening the doors at Apsley Recruitment, Richard has a vision of simple things: zero staff turnover, absolute candidate care and a business model that whilst supported by technology is 95% 'C4' ('Candidate, Client, Consultant, Communication') driven.

Richard believes, as do all the Directors at Apsley, that too many recruitment firms have lost sight of the most important elements of the recruitment process: specialist knowledge, absolute integrity and most importantly verbal communication.

John Hill - Director Banking and Financial Services

John Hill is a founder of Apsley and the Director of the Banking and Financial Services Division.

Prior to his move into recruitment John spent 15 years working within the London, New York, Tokyo and Sydney Financial Markets specialising in areas of Foreign Exchange, Futures and Commodities.

John has extensive knowledge of the Financial Markets and has spent the last 7 years recruiting for the Sydney Banking and Financial Services Industry.

John's main areas of expertise include Funds Management, Superannuation, Equities, Treasury and Custody. John is fully committed to making Apsley Recruitment Sydney's premier recruiter within Financial Services.

Lyn Yorke - Director Temporary Services

Lyn Yorke is a co-founder of Apsley and is the Director of the Temporary Services Division.

Having worked within the Banking Industry for over 8 years, Lyn has spent the last 6 years working for rival agencies specialising in providing both temporary and contract staff to the Financial Services industry.

Lyn's focus has been (and continues to be!) positions within Financial Services ranging from Junior Clerks, Administrators and Executive Secretaries through to Foreign Exchange Settlements Clerks, Business Analysts and Fund Accountants.

Over the past 6 years Lyn has prided herself on results. Included in this has been her dedication to be consistently supportive and helpful to her candidates, and her ability to appreciate the ever-changing skill sets and demands of her loyal clients.

Lyn has joined Apsley as a founding Partner to make a difference for both her candidates and clients. She continues to recruit with integrity.

Sophie Day - Director Business Support

Sophie Day has joined Apsley Recruitment to head up the Business Support Division.

Having been brought up in both Australia and Asia, Sophie received her Tertiary Qualifications and initial recruitment experience in the UK.

Returning home several years ago Sophie further built on her overseas experience by joining a Sydney based International Recruitment firm, specialising in business support recruitment.

Sophie is dedicated to providing exceptional service to both candidates and clients and has experienced superb loyalty from both. Sophie has a certain zest for life and strong professional orientation - a rare combination. Business Support under Sophie's stewardship will be a vital part of Apsley's future.
