With a proud history of more than 116 years, Korowa embraces technological change within an innovative curriculum and a rich and satisfying environment that challenges girls to be the best they can be. Korowa girls are encouraged to attempt great things, whether it's the five-week wilderness Trek, an Urban Adventure in Year 9 or performing in a school choir or production. Korowa provides opportunities to learn skills for living, not just studying, and encourages students to view learning as a lifelong pursuit.
With an array of special features, including a gifted and talented program, international exchange programs, compulsory notebook computer program from Year 6 to 10 as well as a dedicated House pastoral care program, Korowa allows girls to explore and succeed. Korowa's vision aims to prepare successful graduates who realise their strengths, understand themselves and are competent, positive and contributing members of society. Leadership opportunities are available for girls at all year levels through the Student Representative Council, House and school activities. Korowa has an open entry policy that welcomes all girls. Each student is nurtured towards her full potential in a secure, caring and Christian environment. In 2006, Korowa was ranked Equal Third in the State based on median VCE scores, and an outstanding 99% of the Class of 2006 were offered First Round tertiary places.
Korowa is a place where learning is celebrated, where teachers are passionate and where girls are excited about being in school.
