SEEK introduces new AI-powered features to help candidates and hirers connect faster and with greater confidence

SEEK has introduced new product innovations designed to make finding the right job or candidate more personalised, intuitive and effective. 

These features build on SEEK’s ongoing commitment to invest in AI-driven capabilities that enhance trust, improve matching and support better outcomes across the employment journey.

SEEK launches hundreds of new products and updates throughout the year. The examples below demonstrate our progress in leveraging AI to help find and fill roles faster.

Helping hirers make decisions faster

  • Complete reference checks faster with Voice AI: Save time and gain deeper insights with AI-powered voice reference checks that feel like a natural conversation.

Instead of typing responses, referees can simply speak to an AI interviewer that asks structured questions and follows up where needed. This reduces completion time by around 50% while capturing richer, more detailed responses – giving hirers better information to make hiring decisions with confidence.

  • Search and connect with candidates instantly: Discover and reach out to high-fit candidates directly with Basic Talent Search.

All hirers can now search SEEK’s extensive candidate database using simple keywords or natural language, view relevant profiles and connect with up to five candidates for free each month. This makes it easier to find the right people, test the value of proactive sourcing and move faster when hiring.

Connecting candidates with greater confidence

  • Log in to unlock the full SEEK experience: Access more personalised job matches and recommendations by using SEEK while logged in.

SEEK is moving to a more personalised, logged-in experience so we can better understand candidate preferences and deliver more relevant opportunities. When candidates are logged in, every action helps refine their profile – improving match quality and surfacing roles that are more likely to be a strong fit. This means less time searching and a higher chance of finding the right job.

  • See why a job is right at a glance: Quickly understand the key selling points of a role with AI summaries in personalised Career Feeds.

AI-generated bullet points highlight why a job might be a good fit, drawing from the job ad, CV content and related data. Shown on recommended job cards in the personalised Career Feed, these summaries help to scan faster, focus on the most relevant roles and quickly decide which jobs to explore or apply for.

  • Stand out with verified English proficiency: Show language skills with a trusted credential that helps candidates get noticed.

SEEK’s new English proficiency credential allows candidates to demonstrate their language capability in a clear and verifiable way. Displayed on their profile, it helps hirers quickly understand their suitability for roles where communication in English matters – increasing trust and improving their chances of being shortlisted.

  • Apply faster with tailored applications on Jora: Stand out with AI-generated cover letters and seamless applications.

Jora’s AI Assistance helps quickly highlight a candidate’s most relevant experience for each job with a tailored cover letter in one click. For link-out roles, a candidate enters their details once and Jora completes applications in the background while they continue their search – reducing friction, saving time and increasing their chances of getting noticed.
