How to become a Service Technician
The qualifications or licensing you’ll need to work as Service Technician will depend on the field in which you specialise. A trade qualification may be an advantage.
- If you’re interested in refrigeration, consider undertaking a Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration (UEE32211).
- If you’re interested in electrical servicing, you’ll need to complete a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30811).
- You could also consider mechanical servicing. You’ll need to do complete a Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (MEM30205).
