Just a number that’s is all!

The good things
Was very good in beginning when Jat was family owned, manual American trucks not messed with, was managed by truck enthusiasts with passion for the industry.
The challenges
Now PE owned, very messy management re structure attempts causing poor staff retention, new management focus is ‘shop front safety’ only, vision vs reality is worlds apart. multiple eba’s operating in the same company doing the same work is disastrous! Subcontractors are favoured now.

Great staff, new leadership & a great place to work.

The good things
New leadership has created a positive working environment with the focus being on their employees. Increased morale and a positive outlook has changed the company for the better.
The challenges
The company having to re-build after a lot of changes over the past few years. It's great to see things turning around.

Challenging but the good kind of challenging that creates immense satisfaction when you see your work paying off.

The good things
Fresh leadership - New CEO and new appointment of CIO into Executive team has given IT a rightful place in the business. Business knows that change and investment is required to grow and very visible and serious efforts are being undertaken to drive a stronger culture.
The challenges
IT is rebuilding itself from a long period of friction and difficult interactions with the business so the biggest challenge right now is rebuilding that trust and faith in the department but strong progress is being made throughout all levels of the business.

Truck Driver

Bad attitude, doing changeovers , no one cares about the waiting time, most of the time waiting for two , three hours. Loads never ready, going in the yard at the right time, still waiting for the trailers.

The good things
Worst trucks on the planet. History is the best thing
The challenges
I knew everything, nothing to learn, just refrigerated.

A toxic environment with poor management. Issues swept under the rug.

The good things
Good colleagues to make working there bearable
The challenges
A toxic environment. Poor management. Micromanagement of senior staff. Long hours and weekend work. No training or staff development. Pointing the finger rather than working to solve issues. A poor work ethic from some of the management team.
