I would say to anyone - take any other job. Do not work for them.

The good things
None - I really can’t think of a good think to say.
The challenges
No training, terrible management. Take any other job.

In simple Gen Z, Gen Alpha terms. It's mid at best, and that's by being generous.

The good things
Above average pay. Half of the usual working hours of other DC operator jobs, but similar pay.
The challenges
It was good when I first started, but went downhill real fast. The dog water working condition of the place made many workers move to different sections or just quit. If in NSW and you are looking to work for an ALDI DC. Don't work at Prestons. Go to Minchinbury. If anything, try and not to work in the Prestons Cold Handling PM shift.

Demanding

The good things
Worked at 2 different stores across states. Pay is quite high considering you need minimal qualifications. Easily transferable from store to store.
The challenges
Management is demanding, often overstepping boundaries and mistreats staff. Pressure and workload can be unbearable depending on your luck with management. A toxic work environment is not uncommon, as a result there is a high turnover rate.

Goulburn NSW 2580

16 years of my life wasted

The good things
Usually the team you work with and the Pay, it is above average especially for managers however at what cost…?
The challenges
Unrealistic goals and targets Expecting managers with 30 staff and double the sales to do the same thing and standards as a store with 12 staff and less than half the sales. All hours availability, Never being allowed to have a day off even if other managers are there without being constantly inquisitioned as to why?

Executive Manager
Dec 2023
All Gold Coast QLD

Very rewarding financially and professionally, but very demanding in return.

The good things
Great salary, company will look after you if you work hard, very supportive of professional growth and development.
The challenges
Very high expectations, work-life balance isn't great depending on the department you work for as you will be expected to work as many hours as required to get the job done.
