Great colleagues, Horrible management and opportunities

The good things

Most of the people I have worked with have been fantastic. Very helpful and are always reachable and they are the ones maintaining the positive culture in the company.

The challenges

Growth opportunities and salary increments/ bonuses are very limited and directly depends on the knowledge and assistance of your line managers. From what I have seen the only way to progress is by showing off some meaningless things at showcases and pretend.

Poor management that over-promises and then forces staff to work weekends to compensate. Constant fire-fighting, lurching from crisis to crisis.

The good things

One of the most warmest, welcoming organisations I've ever worked for. Arq values work-life balance and diversity greatly. I worked with the most sweetest people there. Though I worked there for on a short-term contract, I loved everything about the company and got to learn so much from the seniors.

I would say you don't get to know many people other than the team you are in.

The company has multiple brands now under the same umbrella, and some of those brands with bad reviews which sometimes made the role difficult because not much was being actioned about it, and no one knew what the umbrella company was.
