Best job I’ve had. A purpose, always challenges and excitement, no two days are the same.
The good things
Exciting, something new every day. Do things you wouldn’t do with any other employer. Great teams, good for people who are open minded and easy going.
The challenges
May be challenging for some people dealing others life issues. You have to deal with peoples most difficult times in their life. Exposure to things that may be horrific and hard to deal with for the average person.

You're just a number and can easily be replaced.
The good things
The AFP is great at lip service, but rarely comes through on HR related issues.
The challenges
Despite public appearances, it is not a family friendly organisation.
Hires/promotes managers rather than leaders (there's a BIG difference between the two).
