Enjoyed my time , only downside was not enough hours , it’s the policy unfortunately.

The good things
I worked as a courier , once you learned the processes it was quite easy , you were basically you’re own boss .
The challenges
Initially quite difficult to find all of the stops on you’re runs , but like anything practice makes perfect .

I would never recommend this employer to anyone, even if I hated them.

The good things
Some of the people I work with are really nice.
The challenges
Management don't care at all for their staff. No allowance is given to adjust the work environment to allow for any physical impairment. Their attitude, said to me, if you don't like, it leave.

High pressure environment with no room for career progression

The good things
Most people I worked with here were great. Most understood their roles and always went above and beyond.
The challenges
Management only seem to care about error rate than patient care. High turn over rate would impact error rate and therefore have management overworking a low morale team. There is no room for moving up in ranks. Many are told they will be moving up but only to be told they are not moving weeks later.

Great people with incredibly low staff morale

The good things
Great cohort of staff, very friendly culture amongst staff within departments.
The challenges
As in any job in the healthcare industry work/life balance is affected by the difficult working hours. The less desirable shifts are often burdened on the more experienced staff members as there is such a high turnover of staff. The high staff turnover may be attributed to the stress placed on all staff members by management to perform at an error rate that is generally unachievable until staff have a sufficient level of experience and the lack of any formal training for new staff members. Without a proper training schedule, there is also no way of knowing whether you are progressing at an adequate rate or showing any improvement at all, the only received feedback is a daily report of mistakes made the previous day and a monthly statistical report of your error rate. Positive feedback would only be received as a written \"good work\" comment on the daily report as supervisors in the department have too many responsibilities demanding attention to devote time to improving staff morale.
