There’s a 2.8 star rating for a reason…

The good things
There are still some (rare) great people at cohealth who do incredible work; particularly outreach work or community engagement. Work life balance is also decent with most people working from home.
The challenges
Management, particularly senior management and executives, and the lack of responsibility and accountability (as many other reviews have stated), which results in a toxic and disconnected workplace. There’s a lot of grandiose self-promotion when it comes to so-called impactful work being delivered in the community, as well as a lot of money (and time - so much time) wasting.

Toxic and Vile Senior Leadership

The good things
The overall cause of delivering healthcare to marginalized groups
The challenges
Senior Leadership is toxic and one big power trip - too concerned with outward appearances and internally people are treated poorly. No accountability and a huge blame culture A huge waste of government funding and resources due to the ineffectiveness of all projects

Wouldn’t work there again no matter how much you paid me.

The good things
Some great people with great values.
The challenges
Poor leadership with a lack of accountability. More focused on the appearance of things than living by their values. Terrible environment for People of Colour - focus on silencing voices and sticking to the company narrative of an inclusive workplace. Poor HR and Payroll team with multiple errors that you have to chase up. Many people left because of this. Company constantly chases growth and burns people out. Toxic environment to work in.

One of the best cultures I have ever had the pleasure of working within.

The good things
I have loved working at cohealth, the career opportunities have been great, leadership is kind and welcoming, my work is satisfying and I have the ambiguity to do great things. The organisation openly embraces diversity and work life balance, people are treated respect and dignity. I really value that about cohealth and my lovely colleagues.
The challenges
Head office is very lacklustre and needs an update. Open plan offices with noise are no longer conducive to a constructive work environment particularly for online teams meetings. Leadership desperately needs to start raising the bar of accountability.

Management does not value good staff.

The good things
The team/colleagues are really good. Supportive and understanding.
The challenges
Management is poor. Essentially people who don't know our clients or what we actually do calling the shots. Micromanaging employees even though KPIs overachieved. Pay rates not according to qualifications nor experience.
