The good things

The people are fantastic, every person wants the best for the customer that they are able to provide under very limited rules and regulations. The companies heart is in the right spot and there is focus on continual improvement although at a slow pace.

The challenges

Unfortunately optus has lost its way, much is said about customer focus however changing things for the better come across too many road blocks. Rostering is hard due to the 7 day roster in in some areas. Career development CAN be limited depending on where you land but if approached correctly with the option to move interstate can open up. Salary is above industry average slightly at base but really opens up with tenure. There are communication issues between customer facing staff and upper leadership.
