Letterbox Distribution Person'Enjoyable but poorly paid for the hours.'Toongabbie, New South Wales, Australia3 to 4 years in the role, current employee

The good things

Letterbox delivery gets you out in your local area where you can meet people, see what's happening. You have flexible hours within the contract time, you organise your run and are pretty well your own boss, but do have a supervisor overseeing the area.

The challenges

Delivery of materials can be a problem, often delivered too close to the contract delivery time. You have to interleaf the individual pamphlets into one bundle takes quite a while if a large delivery. Weight of the delivery can be back breaking so the use of a trolley/pram can help. Weather can also upset delivery especially if wet.
