Positive overall, but DoD needs to consider offering assistance with travel to attract the best people. Travelling to and from work was the only reason I left!

I was severely underutilised and unprepared by my early mentors, it was not enjoyable.

The good things
Flexible working hours and overtime in the form of time off.
The challenges
Trying to find a role that really suits you, the inability to move around and the unwillingness of personnel to let their team members move on to something else.

Lots of opportunity for lateral moves and promotions Excellent investment in training and the APS courses are high quality Working with ADF is a great experience
