Stressful

The good things
Great products and a beautiful head office campus
The challenges
Very toxic environment. Upper management conceited. All about $$$ over patient care.

Stressful and Toxic - would not recommend

The good things
Genuinely helping and assisting those who needed treatment with CPAP Good pathway for progressing in the medical industry
The challenges
The role didn't align with my values as you are strongly encouraged to push sales It is stressful and unsafe working Saturday's alone Resmed only cares about the sales over genuine customer care The salary is low for what is expected You will be dealing with sleep deprived and difficult customers daily

Would not recommend to a friend

The good things
Bunch of good people to work with
The challenges
Management would talk about other staff behind their backs. Processes always changing & hard to keep up with. Expected to know stuff without training.

Great benefits and salary package. Lots of management and a tiny amount of skilled do-ers...

The good things
Great benefits, beautiful campus location (albeit further away from CBD), feel-good company mission
The challenges
Top-heavy hierarchical structure

A turbulent rollercoaster ride from top to bottom.

The good things
When I started ResMed was great to work for. Plenty of benefits and quarterly statewide get-togethers. Also great bonus structure and fantastic training programs. But then.......
The challenges
Upper management changed with something they called "ResMed 3.0" and that drove all the good Management away. They changed the structure of the business which ultimately turned the focus away from customer care and more about $$$$.

Lovely building but sadly, just not very nice people to work for.

The good things
Nice building, grounds and facilities. The cafe is great (albeit a little bit expensive). Lots of people who have worked there a long time, makes you think it must be great...
The challenges
Too many layers. Completely bloated with staff, which has created lots and lots of little silos. They say all the right things with regards to diversity and inclusion, however within the different departments, it is a different story. lots of back-biting, disrespect and exclusion. Many of the staff are 'entitles' due to length of tenure. Needs a broom to sweep the 'old' debris away.
