Other Probation Officers are really focused on helping. Generous and helpful. Really good to talk to and debrief You can basically set you own hours and the pay is good considering how little you 'have to' do

Promotion to management is based on two things: -Proving dangerous level of incompetence -having no idea what the job is about Anyone who displays any ability or leadership is moved on or forced out by management. It's good because what's left is easy to get around but some days it's tough to come to work and look at who they put in charge
