The challenges

The curriculum does not work for many children, albeit modifying the content. It did not suit the community groups and their unique resources and what might be best for them. Time wasted in teaching content that are not beneficial to students who show their talents very young. This would also mean 12 years of contemporary teaching is a waste of a lifetime. Not being heard at the time for my opinions, perhaps other teacher's opinions and ideas as well. Not having the chance or support to be challenged on new ideas. As a teacher, I was not heard. I did not want to spend more years until I am in a leadership role so I might be heard.
