Overall it’s very time saving, and good money job

The good things
We get shifts for the whole week . Like it’s a 7 days job.
The challenges
It’s a night cleaning job so it will be a bit harder for new one .

Event Cinemas: great staff, terrible management.

The good things
Lovely customers. Most co-workers were great. Good staff benefits & work-life balance.
The challenges
Poor Management. Constant bad-mouthing of other staff and customers. Terrible communication. Failure to listen to their staff. Unrealistic expectations. Always spoken to in a condescending way. Staff are disposable at any second.

Fun times at the Cinemas

The good things
The people that work there are amazing, we all became a little family. You definitely feel welcomed and fit in straight away. The perks are nice too.
The challenges
The customers can become aggressive towards you if something isn't done the way they like it.

It is a flexible job but if you're looking for stable and continuous work it is definitely not the job for you

The good things
The perks of having cheap movies and free cinema food, the flexible hours i.e. working late
The challenges
Dealing with horrible customers. Despite working for the company for so long and being very loyal, never getting appointed a higher position for them to save money. They cut your shifts usually in half when on shift to save money.

Lovely for a first job as a teenager.

The good things
The overall working environment and the work life balance
The challenges
Nothing, working overall was a joy and I could still work there I would.

Best part-time job ever!

The good things
Event Cinemas has been my favourite job so far, even on days where I wasn't feeling well or was just having a bad day, something would always make me smile on shift.
The challenges
Dealing with the multitudes of people in a calm, friendly and professional manner was definitely a challenge at first and the fast paced environment too; but that's what made it exciting.

Great and comfortable but not challenging enough

The good things
The parties and events were great
The challenges
Career progression was difficult - structure was quite pidgeonholed and politics also played a part.
