Have been challenged and seen great development in myself and others.

The good things
Plenty of opportunities to take on responsibility and develop your career at fast paced, growing organisation. Work colleagues are supportive and management are very accessible. Great company culture that is inclusive, flexible and understanding of needs outside of work.
The challenges
Working for various clients with tight timeframes. Continuing to develop systems and processes as the company grows.

Exceptional Place to Work

The good things
I started at Fyfe about six months ago as a Division Manager, and it's been a fantastic experience. The company culture fosters growth and inclusivity, making it an exceptional workplace. Management has supported my growth plans, is approachable, and is always open to new ideas and feedback. They prioritize employee well-being and a super-friendly work environment, providing growth opportunities for people of all ages! The work environment is inclusive, friendly and diverse, with a team of talented individuals. There's a strong sense of mateship among colleagues, with people helping each other out, even if it isn't their job. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience at Fyfe. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive, dynamic, friendly, and rewarding workplace.
The challenges
Being headquartered in Adelaide, there are the challenges of being away from the key decision-makers.

Fyfe fosters the development of undergrads, making it a great place to work

The good things
Having started with Fyfe as a fresh grad, I’ve found mentoring and support from peers to be really valuable. Fyfe offers a lot of flexibility while you're studying, this is a huge help when it comes to time management and reducing uni related stress. They also have a positive office culture, so you always feel supported and like you have someone (or multiple people) that you can ask for help, and you have the opportunity to glean wisdom from people who have been in the industry for a while, this gave me a lot of clarity on my career path and helped me develop my confidence.
The challenges
Sometimes with clients there can be tighter than usual timeframes, these have the potential to get stressful, but Fyfe really encourages collaboration and communication, this really streamlines the processes so it’s a lot easier to meet deadlines.

Fantastic, tight knit and welcoming team. Great change!

The good things
The Team I was surprised moving to Fyfe at how open and friendly a group of engineers can be. The staff seem to function as a single large team, they are close knit, welcoming and supportive. With a very flat org structure you always feel very welcome and appreciated. Internal Development I've noticed that management seeks to provide opportunity and develop skills of their team. I've seen first hand the effort spent in developing the technical skills for younger engineers. Opportunities For younger engineers I've seen Fyfe provide opportunities in secondments, field work and different engineering fields which is a fantastic development tool. Projects The projects have been a good mix of familiar and new and novel. It's also great to see the work that Fyfe have done developing new green hydrogen projects. Being able to help decarbonise our energy needs really is fantastic.
The challenges
The team has grown significantly to meet the workloads since I've started. Where inefficiencies occur, these are made up for with enthusiasm.
