Loved the quiet days when there was only a few people and will never forget my regulars who tipped well and just had good conversations with

Do not work at hogs breath cafe!!!
The good things
I think working at hogs breath would be a good first job to gain experience in hospitality. Pretty basic menu to learn. Overall not many good things.

Terrible hours, bad pay, over worked, not valued.

Every staff me ever was new and had no idea what they were doing(at the oldest run Hogs in the country). Split shifts wasted your entire day to work 5 hours

The people i work with and for are all amazing and i get on well with them and the work environment is always good as well. And I just love my job.

When we're busy its sometimes hard to hear the customers.

Enjoyable work environment
The good things
They were very accommodating with my planned unavailabilities. It was also an enjoyable environment to work in.
The challenges
Hard to integrate work into every day life as they were short 2 hour shifts sometimes 2 times a day. This meant I couldn’t do much in between shifts. Also, pay was quite low.
