A good company with some potential, but roadblocks holding it back from being better.

The good things

The work is always challenging and interesting. Some good staff trying their best to improve the workplace.

The challenges

Some outdated equipment that needs better maintenance or replacing. Systems difficult to work with. Regular redundancies due to empire building of some department managers. Under resourced service teams. Lots of changes to strategies over the years making it hard to focus. Highly influenced by HR for daily operations and hiring. Unachievable expectations of work in peak times. Some departments understaffed while others have plenty and are coasting. Unfair differences between staff in working conditions and salaries. Expectations too high for salaried staff.

Won't recommend anyone to go there. Even if you're a fresh grad, because will not be able to learn anything useful that will help you progress in your career or personal growth. But if you are looking for a pre-retirement job, this is an excellent choice.

The good things

If you like a job where you spend a lot of time pretending to be a team with your colleagues and go through motions, this is a job for you.

The challenges

The company exists and operates like it was still in the 80s because this is a company that's resistant to change. Most records are still paper based. No system in place. This company lacks competitive edge and will soon be replaced by faster moving companies in the industry.
