In my time with the Mildura Base Public Hospital, I have been given a multitude of opportunities to grow my skills and knowledge. There are a range of internal opportunities, and you just have to have the confidence to reach out and grab them. If you are proactive you can excel.
The challenges
The organisation is consistently functioning at 100%. It relies on the staff to be proactive and engaged in their roles in order to keep progressing. You have to truly care and be passionate about your role. If you are not engaged, it can be hard to keep up.
