Not reliable and no regard for applicants !!

The good things
I was called for the interview and HR and NUm was lovely
The challenges
I never heard from IVF Monash on the outcome of interview I had with them despite following up with them via email several times . It is very unprofessional not to let the applicants know of the interview outcome as they spent time and money to attend the interview physically

I feel like I have a seat at the table and feel like a valued member of Monash IVF Group

The good things
Collaboration across different departments. Everyone loves to get involved and help one another. There are lots of opportunities for growth
The challenges
Nothing really to comment on. I find everyone really approachable if I have any issues.

Best job I've ever had, I can honestly say that I love my job.

The good things
Have worked my way through multiple roles, so many opportunities to grow. Free IVF if you need it which is an incredible benefit. Amazing people have made many great friends in my time here so far.
The challenges
Some of the upper management can take a little longer to convince of new and improved ways but are eventually open.

By far the best organisation I have worked in my career - they actually care about their people!

The good things
Extremely supportive environment with lots of opportunities to develop and grow within the company. Lots of little perks for staff, and flexible working options.
The challenges
None so far - Managers are approachable if there are any issues.

Medical Administration Role

Less than 1 year in the role

I would not recommend working for this company. I am relieved I am no longer in this role. One of the most unprofessional workplaces I have ever expereinced.

The good things
The workload and work type were reasonable for the pay rate, but still a low pay rate for an experienced medical admin role.
The challenges
Management was extremely autocratic, the staff were micro-managed, HR was non-responsive, and a very toxic culture between nurses, lab staff, admin, and management.

The good things
People, Drs, being a part of creating life
The challenges
Drs running late and having no option but to stay back sometimes

The most toxic work culture I have ever worked in or heard of. From nurse managers, team leaders through general management and HR. The saying ‘a fish rots from the head down’ best describes the culture there and reasons for its environment. It caused me nothing but stress and burn out. They do not care about their employees.

The good things
Most employees that work there are fantastic. Passionate and knowledgeable.
The challenges
Work life balance isn’t good, no management support/care

Great experience, would recommend!

The good things
Great flexibility in working environment, always felt empowered to make decisions.
The challenges
Took a while to feel fully up to speed with everything in the business, as it has a very diverse portfolio.

I feel very fortunate to work in such a great culture and company.

The good things
It’s energising to work for such a purpose driven company with so many talented individuals who are passionate about the same cause. The company’s vision for the future of reproductive care is exciting for both patients and employees, and means there are many professional development and career opportunities. People are empowered to test and learn and drive positive change, and are supported in a culture that values diversity.
The challenges
There is a real opportunity at Monash IVF to make a positive difference to how society thinks about and behaves in relation to their reproductive care. This will take time but the people in the organisation are committed to the cause.
