Great place to work. Salary could be higher. Friendly team mates and customers.

The good things
Great staff. Nice customers. Good management team.
The challenges
None really. A lot of on boarding training helps you to learn everything you need to know.

Overall, not a good fit for me and disappointing given what the role could have been.

The good things
The team was nice, the office was average but had good short-term perks (breakfasts on occasion, networking style events).
The challenges
The team was lead by an inexperienced manager and was undergoing a lot of change which was difficult.

Great team - people that really care about what they do Flexibility to work from the office or from home Commitment to realising strategy rather it just being on a piece of paper

Juggling priorities in a fast paced environment - this is not unique to this workplace in this day and age though!

Great people and opportunities

The good things
Working at MyState has opened many opportunities for me - I'm constantly upskilling and being able to stretch my capability. The best part is the people - MyState is filled with good people that are always willing to help if you're in a bind.
The challenges
Under resourced teams - I'd say everyone is (happily, for the most part) at their limit.

Manager didn’t think I “fitted into the box”. Wanted someone younger to socialise with. Prevented me getting long term employment with the bank.
