IT Worker

Sydney NSW 2000

Lots of areas for potential improvement but overall I enjoyed my time there.

The good things
Small team meaning your busy alot of the time. No lack of things to do. Flexible working arrangements. Your trusted to do your job with alot of autonomy.
The challenges
Management could be more approachable. Tech stack is quite outdated in some areas. Not alot of opportunity for career development / training Salary is on the low side compared to the market rate.

Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant
Jan 2024
Tweed Heads West NSW 2485
5 to 6 years in the role

Time and time again, I watch lifestyle workers passed over for promotion, despite having the necessary qualifications & experience. The positions always went to unskilled staff. We all worked hard, gave a diverse program, residents loved us. We all are baffled as to why. Just got told not your time. We wrote to HR and got no response. What a surprise.

The good things
The residents and team members
The challenges
Navigating management's thoughts process

Went for an interview.
Feb 2023
Burpengary QLD 4505

From personal experience, I can't think of one.

The good things
Went for an interview: The seek advertisement said receptionist, the confirmation email they sent said Guest Support Agent and when I went for the interview, they said it was for an scheduling officer. Even I didn't know what job I was applying for. (These jobs are not the same). They are highly disorganised in basic administration services.
The challenges
Disorganisation in basic levels. Average pay rate Stressful filled environment.
