not worth it. high turnover rate because treats workers horribly

The good things
decent pay, bonuses and nice workers
The challenges
horrible HR and management. only care about the company. Claims they care about the employees and their wellbeing, but only care about the company and profits. provide no communication and don't teach you properly how to deal with any issues. dedicate so many hours, public holidays and sacrifice personal life just to be treated like a number.

On the whole, not a bad place to work with ample opportunity for growth and development. Great location, work/life balance, excellent facilities and a decent culture.

The good things
At the time I was fortunate to work with a great team who were willing to share their knowledge. For the most part, the Corporate Services division was good.
The challenges
The organisation was a little siloed. Back then, it was an evolving company with on-prem infrastructure and more clunky manual processes than you could shake a stick at. Over the past few years of restructuring, a handful of highly talented and excellent senior-level staff have left.

Great workplace, great team, great location and amazing benefits.

The good things
Company vision and values are excellent. The company is looking to the future to improve the way it provides member benefits to it's customers and provide a workplace which provides opportunity and developmental growth. Great benefits and an awesome city location.
The challenges
No issues so far. Have been with the business for 3 months now and have enjoyed it so far and see potential advancement opportunities and opportunities to develop my career.

Senior Management reward poor and improper behaviour by team leaders. They squeeze you out if you complain.

The good things
Some people were nice.
The challenges
Managements attitude to poor leadership.

I was underutilised and largely ignored, which was stressful as I wanted to meaningfully contribute and be part of a team.

The good things
People are nice and courteous for the most part. The pace isn't unrealistically fast or pushy.
The challenges
Some areas are quite hierarchical which breeds inefficiency and limits innovation. Development opportunities are targeted at compliance or leadership which doesn't reflect a modern career in 2023. Diversity awareness and support is alarmingly low for an organisation of this size.

Inspiring leadership, supportive management.

The good things

Lack of opportunities, and it is a company that is not very diverse and inclusive.

The good things
The salary is good, and it is possible to work from home -Hybrid work.
The challenges
It is a company that is not very diverse and inclusive. It doesn't have team development strategies.

RACV is the definition of internal expectations versus external reality that don't matchup - Once a burgeoning business behemoth, but now merely a laggard playing catchup in all areas.

The good things
Brand/Business Legacy Plenty of work to do/improve on Risk-Averse Central Location
The challenges
Workload Capacities Role Ambiguity Lack of culture & inclusion Senior & Executive Management Siloed Teams Business Strategic Direction (Lack of) Multi-tiered Micromanagement
