The good things
Recruitment and onboarding processes were very well planned and engaging.
The business is well structured with role definition & responsibilities in place and there are good opportunities for employee learning and development.
The variance of products being processed / manufactured is interesting & remuneration is on the high side for the regional areas that the manufacturing facilities are located

Too much politics within the business. There are no opportunities to grow within the business even if you have potential.

The good things about working for Simplot is the employees, They are really nice people. That's about it.
The challenges
The management does not care about employees. They'd rather waste money on an unnecessary million dollar office refurbishment than give you a pay rise or fund your personal development.

Good working environment at site level.
The good things
Local site management is great. Close to workers and in tune with situation on ground. Sometimes surplus product sold at staff discount.
The challenges
Head office management team seems a bit detached. Support teams based at head office can be slow to react.

Excellent culture. Generally they employ well and promote a good sense of team. Results focused.
The challenges
Slow with change and sometimes not open to change. Bonus structure was vague and progress / status on achieving this was not communicated well. Pay rises not necessarily linked to individual results.
