Lovely ethics and care for all people

The good things
Workload and staffing was adequate. There was more community basis. Environment was much more comfortable. The company had a regard and consideration for staffing. Wish they had never been bought out by Australian Clinical Laboratories, worst decision ever.
The challenges
Getting machines up and running

Great company to work for

The good things
Lovely atmosphere and culture . Patients well cared for
The challenges
Budget cuts to allied health, making the more work for already busy staff and fewer opportunities for development

Good place to work but unfortunately the management is really poor and doesn't care about staff well-being.

The good things
Salary packaging is good thing to save on tax
The challenges
Poor management. Focus on profit eventhough it's a non-profit organisation. Staff overworked. Management doesn't care of staff well-being. Doesn't have REAL performance review.

Was a wonderful place to work at, the people are lovely but at the time I worked there management seemed to be apathetic to how people were dealing with stressful situations.

The good things
Wonderful people to work with, supportive when you push for it.
The challenges
If you have a solo role you could feel alone, its a stressful environment

I worked with some lovely colleagues and beautiful patients

Patient care is compromised by focus on time and money

The good things
Some of my team! Flexibility with uni and time off was also good.
The challenges
The job always requires you to go above and beyond your duties, with a heavy focus on time rather than patient care - because time is money! I felt like I didn't have time to give my best care to patients because I was always rushed. Some of the team also made the job harder due to their lack of effort. Management seemed disconnected from what the job actually entailed. Not worth the stress.
