It hasn't been a healthy experience working for WWG

The good things
There are some really amazing people who just want to add value and do a good job
The challenges
Command and Control environment makes it difficult to add value Everyone works in fear of losing their jobs They talk a lot about integrity, diversity and inclusion but the words don't match the actions

Fix the content marketing part of the business. Work more collaboratively with stakeholders

The good things
Potential to be really good. Open plan lunch rooms, modern office and hard working people. Great brands and good quality.
The challenges
Trying to get marketing campaigns off the ground. Too many restrictions and processes that lack creativity. No support from Content Marketing team specialists to try and work together. They always push back in helping and talk at you. If you give them feedback, take it personally complain to HR. The whole process is a lot of back and forth and met with rudeness via emails and in face to face meetings. It takes about 2 weeks to get any content back and you have to write the content yourself which may be hard if you’re in accounting or sales and this is jot your area of expertise. Workwear group just can’t seem to get their marketing right, even after all these brands, new headcount and resources, no one in the marketing team wants to make decisions and work collaboratively with stakeholders

A great company to work for if you are willing to work hard.

The good things
Lots of opportunity for career advancement if that's what you want. People are genuine.
The challenges
Improvements in technology solutions are required as systems and tools are outdated. This creates a high workload but there is light at the end of the tunnel as budgets have been approved and work is underway to bring in new programs and processes.

Enjoyed working there in the beginning then new management changes and lack of business direction made it stressful employees are always under unneccessary stress.

The good things
Good balance work and lifestyle with their work from home policy
The challenges
the business is constantly changing management and staff, so there is no job security and everyone is always worried. They claim to have company values but most not all senior management don,t practice what they preach.
