Business Unit Manager - WA

Our client, is a national market leader in the manufacture, supply and sale of premium stone, granite, marble and related products to the building, architecture and design industries.
This key position reports to the National General Manager and has accountability for the performance of WA P&L, sales, customer service, finance, staff development, administration and site manufacturing including Production, Safety, Quality, Cost and People.

To be successful you must be able to demonstrate experience and results in the following areas:

•             Manage and maximise site production and quality control requirements with a focus on      safety and continuous improvement
•             A good understanding and ability around manufacturing costs, raw materials, budgets and reporting procedures
•             Highly developed leadership and coaching style
•             Manage planning, reporting and budgets for sales and drive business development
•             Proficiency with computer systems, in a manufacturing environment
•             Manage administration, compliance and reporting to national head office.
•             Ability to identify and deliver excellence in Customer Service

Self-motivated and disciplined, with high standards and strong attention to detail, you will bring well-developed leadership and communication skills. You will require excellent clear communication skills both written and verbal, along with a consultative and coaching style. 

 Although not essential, qualifications in manufacturing, operations, business or a related field are desirable. Experience in the manufacture and supply of premium building materials or finishes, will be well regarded.
