About the role

The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for the control the Company’s supply chain solutions, facilitate and drive the S&OP and forecasting processes, maximise forecast accuracy by driving clear communication and collaboration between sales, operations, procurement and new product development.

This role will incorporate all Group wide demand planning.

  • Develop and execute product demand plans to meet Company goals;
  • Forecast and optimise stock according to Company objectives;
  • Develop demand forecasts based on demand patterns and trends;
  • Work with customers, Sales and Supply Chain Management to improve forecast accuracy;
  • Maintain inventory levels based on the future customer demands;
  • Identify opportunities to meet customer demands during constrained supply;
  • Maintain demand planning processes and systems to improve forecasting accuracy;
  • Monitor and assess effectiveness of process and drive continuous improvement;
  • Automate demand process and set sales base lines.

About you 

As an experienced Demand Planning Manager you will have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in FMCG Supply Chain – demand planning;
  • Ideally tertiary educated to a bachelor level;
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and influencing skills;
  • Strong numerical detailed reporting and excel skills;
  • Continuous improvement mindset;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally;
  • Strong analytical, communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
