ICT Infrastructure / Systems Administrator

Our lithium hydroxide plant in Kwinana, Western Australia produces high-quality battery materials for the electric vehicle and energy storage markets. The Plant leverages innovative technologies developed by its global parent company.

In preparation for commissioning the plant, this is an opportunity for an ICT Infrastructure Systems Administrator to join the team and ensure that the required systems and platforms are in place to support this growth.

The ICT Infrastructure Systems Administrator's primary function will be responsible for building and maintaining the ongoing performance, security, reliability, testing an management of the organisations's core network and systems to ensure that Tianqi Lithium Australia team can produce the highest quality and most cost-effective lithium in the world.

 

For success in the role, you will:

  • Provide 3rd level support on any helpdesk calls assigned;
  • Ensure correct daily operation of the core network
  • Ensure maintenance of the security and integrity of the core network;
  • Proficient knowledge in scripting and patching technologies.
  • Have high level knowledge of:
    • Mobility technology (phones, tablets);
    • Windows server operating systems;
    • Microsoft server features (Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, System Centre);
    • Communication technologies (switching, routers, gateways, networks);
    • Cloud platforms (Office 365, Azure, SAP) and Hypervisor platforms.

We're after an individual who is motivated by solving problems and takes initiative to do so through smart solutions and a super responsive approach.

Prior experience in a similar environment is essential along with exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. The ability to empathise with end-users to reassure and guide them through issue resolution and a patient and positive disposition are also essential qualities we're looking for.

In addition to this, other qualities, skills and experience we're searching for include:

  • Minimum 5 years prior experience in systems administration
  • University Qualification, TAFE / Industry Certification
  • Desirable ITIL or Prince2 certifications
  • Ability to learn and grasp new computer systems and concepts
