Guppy's Early Learning Centres: Exceptional Child Care Through Personalized Service

An exciting opportunity exists at one of our centres at Forestdale for an enthusiastic and reliable child care Senior Educational leader-2IC  who wants to join a committed and fun-working team. This is a Permeant Part Time role which may develop into a permanent role and will involve training and Educational leadership opportunities.

 
The key features of the role are:
- Friendly, family atmosphere
- great staff providing quality care
- Privately owned, but professionally-run, air-conditioned Centre
- Great opportunity for someone who has a passion for programme and practice
-Responsible for the overall management and administration of the service in the absence of the Nominated Supervisor including maintaining day-to-day accounts and administrative matters.

-Responsible in consultation with the Director for the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of a  developmentally appropriate program for individual children or groups.

- Training and development in business and staff management
- leadership and development opportunities
- Supportive learning environment. - supportive management

All this in a centre with the resources and support for a fun and enjoyable workplace!

This is the opportunity for an Educational Leader ready to take the next step and who want the training and support to progress their career's.

We train our senior educators to become our next Nominated Supervisors.

Essential skills for the roles are:

  • Diploma in Children's Services
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong ability to create a vision
  • Knowledge of current Regulation and Accreditation guidelines
  • Current Blue Card
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current CPR
  • Current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Certificate
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Needs to have a good understanding of the Early Years Quality Framework
