Project and Account Manager

PowerHealth is a market leader in the provision of Health and Hospital-based software offerings. We are currently looking for an experienced software project and account manager to join our project management team. Critical to this role is having the demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects of varying size, complexity, and need, whilst maintaining a high level of customer focus.

What we're looking for:

  • Someone who can hit the ground running by drawing on their experience as a project manager in health software implementations.
  • An all-rounder who is not afraid to use their initiative.
  • Previous account management experience is not required but an understanding of the key qualities that an account manager should possess would be advantageous.
  • An understanding of PRINCE2 Project Management processes will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Project and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional communication skills which will see you successfully navigate through the entire project lifecycle and beyond.
  • Someone who is a fast learner with outstanding time management and organisational skills.

What we really want:

  • Someone with a strong sense of resilience who is able to form and foster relationships with ease.
  • A team player with boundless energy ready to provide our clients with exceptional service.
  • Someone who will take on every challenge with a smile and learn from experiences.
  • A complementary member of our project management team who understands the importance of having fun whilst working hard to get the job done.
  • Someone with the willingness to share their knowledge and experience within the team and help grow the collective knowledge and experience of the project management team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage software implementations throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Manage project scope as well as the competing demands of multiple projects.
  • Ensure projects adhere to sound project management principles.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Provide timely and relevant reports both internally and externally.
  • Work with other staff and managers to ensure the best use of PHS resources.
  • Provide ongoing account management to new and existing clients across a range of products.

This isn’t a traditional project management role. We’ll expect you to be using your people management skills far more often than your technical skills. You’ll be working on projects where the resources aren’t yours to manage but leadership will be key to ensuring outcomes are met.

Australian residency or a current work visa is essential. Interstate and overseas travel are required.

A remuneration package will be negotiated in line with qualifications, skills, and experience.

Applications close Monday 16th April 2018.  Please submit a letter of application addressing our criteria, "What we're looking for" and "What we really want" and your C.V. via SEEK only, to the Human Resources Manager.
