Communications Advisor - Projects

Hope & Glory is delighted to be working with the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) in their search for a talented, down-to-earth and hands-on Communications Advisor - Projects. This is a permanent position being offered full or part time (4 days minimum), located in West Melbourne and an exciting opportunity for an experienced communications practitioner to drive project communications for the organisation. 
  
ACEM is the pre-eminent body for promoting excellence in the delivery of quality emergency care to the community through our committed and expert members across Australia and New Zealand. As the Communications Advisor - Projects, you will be accountable for delivering contemporary communications initiatives to support a multitude of projects currently being undertaken within the business.
  
You will undertake a range of activities including (but not limited to):
  • Develop and execute a range of communications using both traditional and digital channels.
  • Develop a strategic plan to deliver on key College events and milestones.
  • Create and schedule social media content and eDMs.
  • Coordinate and oversee website and intranet content.
  • Oversee brand consistency.
  • Measure, analyse and report on project activity and success.
  • Build robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders and College affiliates.
To be considered for this role, your application likely shows the following:
  • Strong communications experience using both traditional and digital channels.
  • Sharp writing skills and adept in the development of content for the web.
  • Solid understanding of the principals of project management.
  • Technical expertise and understanding of digital communications, including Content Management Systems and social channels.
  • A thorough understanding of email marketing services such as MailChimp.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing positive stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
  • The ability to work in a complex, fast-paced operating environment.
  • Relevant degree qualifications in communications or marketing discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
You are a hands-on practitioner who is prepared to roll up your sleeves and support the organisation in positioning them as a trusted, authoritative voice within their industry sector. You will have the confidence to deal with a range of key stakeholders across the organisation and build robust relationships.  The hallmarks of your interpersonal style are maturityresilience and a genuine, authentic approach in all your stakeholder interactions.
