Village Manager / Residential Manager - Seniors Living

About the Position:

The role of Village Manager is one that will keep you on your toes! With a list of responsibilities that varies from event planning to hygiene and safety, you will find that no two days are the same. Specifically your role will include:

  • Daily management of staff, residents and visitors
  • Ensuring safety and cleanliness are at the highest of standards
  • Promoting a sense of community within the village
  • Administration of records and marketing collateral
  • Participate in networking events building relationships with community groups
  • Work towards increased occupancy in the village
  • Assist staff in all areas of the village where needed

About You:

You are driven by results, but also value the needs and expectations of our senior residents. To be successful, you must have the following: 

  • Experience in a similar role; Holiday Park Manager, Hotel Manager, Real Estate Property Manager etc. ideally with some exposure to aged care or retirement
  • Demonstrated people management, customer service and sales skills
  • Sound knowledge of cost control and budget reporting
  • Excellent communication with a friendly and caring disposition
