Account Manager - Outbound Sales

The Company

Our company is one of Australia's largest, privately owned liquor beverage businesses that has been in operation for over 50 years and successfully operates at both a domestic and international scale, selling liquor and associated products to a significant customer base that includes both national and independent wholesalers, retailers, bars, restaurants and clubs.

The Role

You will be required to use our existing national database to proactively engage with specific groups of current, prospective and new customers selling our globally recognised exclusive liquor brands and associated products including: Beers – Wines – Spirits – Liqueurs and Non-alcohol related items.

Duties

  • Conduct warm and cold call leads to meet KPI’s.
  • Maintain a computer data-base system for the purpose of keeping up-to-date customer contact listings.
  • Sell specials and promotional offers as required.
  • Provide sales and market information to our customers, on both new and existing products.
  • Provide details on promotional offers and buying opportunities.
  • Assist in the execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Offer a Broad range of customer sales support.

Skills and Experience:

Essential

  • Demonstrated experience in a sales environment
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Enthusiastic and congenial character
  • Professional phone manner
  • Strong communication skills
  • Winning attitude
  • Strong work ethic
  • Proficient in computer application/s

Desirable

  • Liquor Industry or FMCG experience
  • Experience using a CRM system
  • Previous experience conducting outbound sales
