Cook/Restaurant Manager

Twelve Boar is an American BBQ Franchise restaurant with locations in Cleveland, Wellington Point and soon to be North Lakes. Twelve Boar serves authentic American BBQ, including smoked pork and beef ribs, pulled pork and beef brisket burgers, buffalo and BBQ wings, hot dogs, loaded fries and more. 

A new Cafe style concept is in the works, and you can be part of developing this with us:

  • Assist with the development of a breakfast-style menu, utilising some of the American BBQ offerings (i.e. smoked beef brisket croissant)
  • Contribute to changing up the menu from time to time
  • Have part ownership with a share program in place, or bonuses
     

As a chef/cook manager, you will report to the Restaurant Cafe Owner and provide operation support both in the front and back of house. This is inclusive of training, stock control, cooking, and looking after customers. You will be a strong leader who strives to maintain the brand's great culture, have great interpersonal skills and provide quality leadership to the team.

To be successful for this position, we require the following:

  • At least 2 years' experience as an chef/cook in a busy restaurant
  • Passionate about good food & providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong work ethic, honest, and excellent communication skills
  • Barista certificate required
  • RSA & Food Safety Certificate desirable but not mandatory

What's on offer:

  • Starting between $45,000 to $54,900 base salary + Super + Company Share Program/Bonuses
