Territory Manager

About the role

Reporting to the State Sales Manager; this role will suit an FMCG sales specialist who will play an integral role in new business development and continuing the growth of our exciting range of products throughout Western Australia, as well as constructing product displays and negotiating shelf space for our products.

Duties Include

  • Managing existing relationships and identifying new opportunities
  • Developing new business within the set territory
  • Driving sales of our internationally recognised brands
  • Merchandising to increase brand awareness
  • Develop a high standard of both product and industry knowledge
  • Guide store managers with product positioning and promotions
  • Report marketing initiatives and competitor’s promotions

To be successful applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Working knowledge of the liquor industry
  • Comprehensive planning and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Cold calling experience
  • Current & Valid Driver’s licence
  • Current RSA
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience using a CRM program (Desirable)
  • Existing business relationships (Desirable)

Your ability to communicate, influence and negotiate effectively coupled with great interpersonal skills will see you strive within this territory. You will be a driven individual being achievement and results focused, a high level of integrity is a must as we are here to support our independents and help them succeed in a competitive environment.

Highly regarded candidates will already have FMCG or Liquor category experience, with a proven sales track record, you will be charismatic, dynamic and a real go getter, and most importantly a team player.
