About Certsy

In 2018 we’re expanding the team significantly to accelerate our efforts, including:

  • Launching a purpose-built platform to verify and manage credentials.
  • Rapidly expanding our range of credentials and integrating with relevant authorities.
  • Integrating with SEEK to enable people to verify and share their data.

As a start-up within the SEEK Group, we have a small high-powered team with significant autonomy and focus which can also tap into the huge reach, capabilities and assets of SEEK. This puts Certsy in an excellent position to move fast, deliver real value, and scale up quickly.

A Day in the Life Working at Certsy 
Based in our Sydney office, our Customer Support Officer will play an important role in ensuring consistent, reliable and timely delivery of high-quality verification outcomes and user experiences for individual users, paying customers, and our partners. The role calls for someone who wants to:

  • Work in a passionate, entrepreneurial team with big plans and a real sense of urgency
  • Ensure the accurate and reliable verification of job seeker credentials and identity documents
    • Verify evidence of credentials and identity documents
    • Submit police checks and other requests to the relevant authorities
    • Be alert to inconsistencies, fraud or other issues that may arise
    • Follow the agreed process consistently
    • Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant laws, contracts and obligations
  • Deliver excellent customer service and support
    • Liaise with SEEK partners to ensure good end-to-end customer experiences
    • Proactively identify opportunities to improve our service and help resolve any operational issues
  • Help with end-to-end testing of new credentials before they go live on the system
  • Assist with identifying and testing improvements to the Admin app
  • Participate in team retros as an advocate for the customer perspective

You want to share with us your

  • Strong experience in B2C customer support, including ticket management & help centres
  • Positive, can-do, and resilient attitude, ability to show initiative and take ownership of outcomes
  • Customer-focused mindset, with excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to managing tasks
  • Good collaboration abilities, with openness and flexibility to different perspectives
  • Desire to work in a start-up environment, including being comfortable with ambiguity, ‘minimum viable products’, and rapid iteration & learning.

  
It wouldn’t hurt if you had experience in one or more of the following:

  • Identity documents and verification
  • Compliance and fraud prevention
  • Working with government agencies or large corporates
  • Good high-level understanding of, or desire to learn, key technology concepts
  • Experience in working in Software / Technology or startups
