Learning and Development Officer

The Ruby Apartments is a new and exciting addition to our Resort complex due to open in late 2018 with the key tagline of “We don’t do ordinary”, with our current management team seeking the addition of a key player to join them, ensuring that we achieve this goal. 

This challenging role will provide the opportunity to make a difference, to exceed industry benchmarks, where there are no Corporate Head Office constraints and where the thought of developing and implementing new and best practices is encouraged.

This position is very much one of ownership, it requires a belief in the importance of going to the next level in terms of service standards, without the robotics of endless manuals, obstructive traditions and policies and obsolete principles.

This is a hands-on, one on one role, working with both front line and back of house team members from all walks of life, with varying levels of education, mixed job roles, varying ages and personal development all requiring the one common goal of being provided with the tools to deliver the best customer interaction in a genuinely warm and professional manner.

This role is a full-time position based at Paradise Resort and working within the Human Resource Team. It involves a cross over in responsibilities between both Paradise Resort and Ruby Apartments.

Once completed the Resort complex will consist of over 1,600 apartments in four towers of up to 60 levels, spread over 4 hectares inclusive of a waterpark, family focused entertainment and activity areas, a variety of restaurants, bars and resort facilities.
