Accounts Payable Officer

Tutt Bryant Equipment is Australia's leading multi franchised National Distributor of civil construction equipment in Australia. The business focus is on sales and marketing activities of our Product Portfolio, well supported by Spare Parts, Servicing and Maintenance departments

 

An opportunity currently exists for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to work within a small Finance team of the National Administration office located at Chester Hill in Sydney’s west.

 

Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will be involved in the key functions of:

 

  • matching and processing of overseas supplier invoices against inventory purchase orders for equipment and spare parts
  • processing of freight and duty invoices
  • reconciling supplier accounts in local and foreign currency
  • preparing monthly and weekly payments of supplier invoices
  • liaising with overseas suppliers
  • providing accounting support to the Finance team as and when required

 

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

  • 3 years + experience in a similar role
  • intermediate Excel and ERP system skills (Infor M3 currently used)
  • exposure to foreign currency transactions
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work unsupervised with an enthusiastic attitude
  • their own method of transport
