Sales and Marketing Coordinator

Are you ready for a fresh start?

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be providing administrative assistance and support to the Sales and Marketing team and CEO of the company.  This role involves handling all administrative work including typing of minutes and general correspondence, preparing presentations, briefs and reports as well as coordinating promotional activity to ensure the smooth running of the Sales and Marketing department. 

This diverse role is responsible for maintaining client relationships, collating and contributing to monthly reports and updates, assisting with specified projects relating to promotions and public relation activities, maintaining supplier and client databases, coordinating submissions of artwork for the design team and sourcing quotes for new printing and collateral.

No day is ever the same; from organising prize vouchers, to VIP requests or managing the charitable support on behalf of the Company. This role requires someone to put their hand up and accept any challenge that comes their way.

Finer Points (Is this you?)

  • Experience in a similar role within the travel/accommodation sector
  • High level of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willing to adapt to change and embrace new systems and technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and pleasant telephone manner
  • Driven, self-motivated and possess exceptional eye for detail
  • Excellent time management, presentation and organisational skills with the ability to balance multiple deadlines
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients and staff, using discretion with confidential matters
  • Initiative, creativity and commitment to the company
  • Able to analyze and interpret information and solve problems
  • Able to work as part of a team and independently, staying calm in difficult situations
  • Current Drivers Licence

This role is a full-time position based at Paradise Resort and working within the Sales and Marketing Team. It involves a cross over in responsibilities between both Paradise Resort and The Ruby Collection.

Whilst we encourage personal development in all roles within our business, we are seeking an individual that already possesses the experience, qualities, knowledge and ability to undertake this role unhindered.

Once complete the Resort complex will consist of over 1,600 apartments in four towers of up to 60 levels, spread over 4 hectares inclusive of a waterpark, family focused entertainment and activity areas, a variety of restaurants, bars and resort facilities.
