The Nuts & Bolts!

The Role:

  • Reporting to the aptly named Business Engagement Manager with significant interactions with our Owners Federal Group.
  • Distil the competing demands of your day; seeing the user need within the context of business unit strategy. Act as a Jefferson's Tube as you translate business objectives into proper system requirements specifications.
  • Improve business customers outcomes though business case development and new application functionality, including cost/benefit analysis and risk/impact.
  • Be the friendly face and sympatric voice of IT within COPE. You are IT for the COPE business.
  • Genuinely own your role and drive a mindset of continuous improvement for both the business process and underlying technologies and system support
  • Develop and maintaining technical knowledge with respect to Federal Group applications in order to provide ongoing solutions to users and to support TSG in delivering a high level of availability for staff using technology based systems.
  • Build and maintaining relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to understand business issues and needs and provide subject matter expertise as needed for business discussions and projects.
  • Take ownership of systems development, QA and acceptance testing projects
  • Own the partnership in developing test plans, test cases, perform functional testing and ensure proper user acceptance testing.
  • Be the Knowledge source for the business. Create and Drive new training for the COPE team.
  • You're our Wingman as you help around overall application support and end to end IT coordination for all IT related activities.
  • Partner with your stakeholders and customers, both internal and external, to deliver key COPE projects.
  • Sound soft people skills; you can interact with customers and staff with empathy and in a timely manner especially when dealing with user driven IT issues (!)
  • Be an amazing person to work with and a genuine team contributor
