We’re currently seeking an experienced publicist to join our Sydney publicity team for a 12 month maternity leave position.

Working closely with the National Publicity Director across every area of the business from on air, announcers, brand and promotions, digital and sales, the publicity team delivers a seamless experience internally and externally and raises the public profile of all aspects of the business.

This role will see you publicising the Nova and smoothfm media brands in Sydney and developing initiatives for national programs emanating from these markets alongside the National Publicity Director and Sydney Senior Publicist.

Your goal will be to publicise NOVA Entertainment’s Nova and smoothfm stations and announcers, exploring all appropriate press and other media opportunities. These opportunities exist not only within programs, but in other areas within the stations including sales and digital. You will also be responsible for generating press coverage, media opportunities and red carpet coverage for Australia’s premier live music platform, Nova’s Red Rooms.

As the ideal candidate you will be a lateral thinker who is always willing to look at things in a creative way.
