Trainer and Assessor - Disability

ET Australia is looking to expand its operations and we are seeking a passionate and motivated Trainer / Assessor for CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability).

ET Australia’s Training College is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that delivers accredited face-to-face training through both classroom and workplace environments across the NSW Central Coast region.

Opportunity
This is an exciting time for ET Australia as we continue to expand our operations in the Central Coast region. The planned expansion sees the Training College requiring a highly engaging Disability Trainer / Assessor to join the team and deliver CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) to students in both classroom and workplace environments. A 3 day per week / 12 month contract initially will be offered, with the potential for the position to become permanent as business opportunities are further developed.

ET Australia’s Training College has been delivering the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) qualification for many years, and whilst there are similarities between the ageing and the disability streams, the role will require involvement in the customisation of training and assessment materials prior to delivery or assessment occurring for the disability stream.

We believe this role would be ideal if you are working within the disability sector in a casual or part time capacity and are looking to supplement this work with training and assessing.

Key selection criteria (essential):

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or TAE40116)
  • Certificate IV in Disability (or higher level relevant qualification / degree)
  • 2+ years industry experience working in the disability sector
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence to deliver engaging and motivating classroom based programs to diverse learner groups
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Current Driver's License
  • High level of attention to detail and quality
  • 1+ years training and assessment experience (preferred)

If you have a love for education, and you are enthusiastic, energetic and self-motivated and you believe you have the skills and attributes required and would like to be part of a quality team, please forward a current resume and a covering letter to training@etaustralia.com

Please note, only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
