Food and Beverage Attendants- Landscape and Peacock and Jones

As Australia’s first dedicated art hotel, The Henry Jones merges one of Tasmania’s most significant industrial heritage sites with modern design and contemporary art to create a decadent and sophisticated guest experience. The hotel is a living and breathing art gallery, exhibiting over 400 works from an eclectic mix of Tasmanian artists – all set against a backdrop of rich industrial heritage and stories of the hotel’s former life as an internationally renowned Jam Factory. With nationally-acclaimed restaurants and bars, award-winning architecture and two equally iconic sister properties in MACq 01 Hotel and Saffire Freycinet, The Henry Jones offers just as much in career opportunity as it does in guest experience.

 

As a result of a variety of internal promotions across our properties, our two award winning restaurants- Landscape Restaurant and Grill, and Peacock and Jones- have new opportunities available for the next rising stars to join our team.

 

As a member of our Peacock and Jones team, you will champion our locally sourced a la carte menu with Tasmanian, interstate and Old World wines. Our open kitchen delivers scents, sounds and sights with a touch of theatre to our guests. With a passion for seasonal Tasmanian produce, and a relaxed but classic style, makes you a fantastic fit for this team. 

 

If a sophisticated experience is more your style, Landscape Restaurant and Grill is our signature restaurant, offering a premium dining experience. Committed to serving Tasmania’s finest produce with an ever changing menu, our popular dining spot is a special occasion restaurant for many. Achieving Gourmet Traveller Top 100 for 2017, Landscape continues to set the bar high for hospitality in Tasmania.

 

Whether it be Peacock and Jones, or Landscape Restaurant, as a member of our Food and Beverage team, your primary focus will be creating memorable guest experiences. Our guests look forward to being immersed in a culture of genuine warmth where you and your team provide attentive, knowledgeable and caring service. As our successful candidate, you bring;

 

  • Eagerness to work in attentive and fast paced environments,
  • Flexibility and reliability to work a varying roster,
  • RSA certificate,
  • Previous experience in a restaurant setting,
  • Knowledge of Tasmanian wine and produce, and
  • A strong guest focus.
