CASUAL Site Storekeeper – Remedial (Full Time Casual)

The position of Site Storekeeper is accountable for managing both inward and outward stock movements, while keeping accurate accounting and inventory records.

This role will be based onsite at Kurnell working with the Freyssinet Remedial Team.

Primary accountabilities / Duties:

This Storekeeper position has the following primary accountabilities:

  1. Work closely with the Project Manager/Engineers, Site Manager and Leading Hands to ensure equipment, tools and consumables are available when needed.
  2. Ordering of material and equipment through the Purchasing Manager.
  3. Testing and tagging of equipment.
  4. Load and unload deliveries using a forklift.
  5. Under supervision, forecast, program and cost control
  6. Keep stock areas clean, tidy and well organized.
  7. Develop and maintain a professional relationship with third party carriers and internal suppliers.
  8. Keep accurate tracking of the stock take and the inspection required using software such as excel.
  9. Make sure of the tools and equipment are well maintained, in good condition and arrange any repair needed or inspection required.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Min 2 years’ experience in Storekeeping /Inventory duties in the construction industry
  • Knowledge of basic tools and equipment used on the construction industry
  • Can adapt to a variety of work and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Class LF forklift license - mandatory
  • UEENEEP026A - Test and Tag Competency
